For over 50 years, Québec and France have maintained and continuously renewed their direct, special relations, which were born from a shared political desire that transcends partisan allegiances. Their relations are supported by networks that cover every field of activity of civil society. Thus, France is Québec’s strategic partner in Europe and holds a special place in Québec’s International Policy and the Québec government’s Europe Strategy. Their bilateral relations have matured to such a point that they design joint activities in third countries and forge alliances on multilateral issues.
