The Québec ground transportation cluster, in conjunction with the Québec Government Office in Mexico City, has just announced that a cooperation agreement has been signed with the Asociacion nacional de productores de autobuses, camiones y tractocamiones (ANPACT) from Mexico. It was signed in the presence of Christiane Pelchat, Québec’s Delegate General in Mexico City, Denis Robillard, Chief Executive Officer of the Québec ground transportation cluster, and Carlos García Fernández, President of ANPACT.

The goal of this agreement is to create and foster exchanges and business development between ground transportation companies in the two territories. It will not only make it possible to develop business opportunities, but also organize networking activities and economic missions in Mexico and Québec.

It was made possible thanks to the support of the Québec Government Office in Mexico, which acted as a liaison between ANPACT and the cluster, participated in several meetings and supported the legwork during the negotiations between the two bodies.

The Québec ground transportation cluster is the single body representing all interests of the Québec ground transportation industry. It was created from a desire to unite the efforts of the Association des manufacturiers d’équipements de transport et de véhicules spéciaux and four niches of excellence in ground transportation in Québec.
