    Minister Lisée in France to follow up on the Alternating Meeting of the Premier and Prime Minister

    Minister of International Relations, La Francophonie and External Trade Jean-François Lisée is carrying out a mission to Paris on April 11 and 12. The mission is a follow-up to the 17th Alternating Meeting of the Premier of Québec and Prime Minister of France held in Québec City last month and will focus on strengthening ties with the French business community and La Francophonie.

    Québec video games are a hit in San Francisco

    A record number of 35 Québec companies participated in the Game Developers Conference (GDC), the world’s largest professionals-only video game industry event. This conference, which had over 23,000 attendees, was held in San Francisco, California from March 26 to 29.

    Three talented ITHQ graduates awarded scholarships to develop their skills abroad

    For the fifth year in a row, the Fondation de l’ITHQ has awarded “Les Grands Chefs Relais & Châteaux” scholarships to three graduates of the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ). Each scholarship is worth $35,000. The winners will be able to hone their skills during a one-year internship at a high-end establishment in a foreign country.

    New research and creation residency in Mumbai

    The Québec Arts Council (Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec - CALQ) is extending its network of studios and residencies to India as the result of a two-year partnership agreement with two organizations: Space 118 and What About Art? The agreement will provide Québec artists with a new location for research and creation in Mumbai, India.
